Hello! I just went to the us open of Surfing in Huntington Beach! The weather condition is perfection at the beach best now – the ocean breeze felt amazing. It’s always something like 10 to 20 degrees cooler right here than inland.
But before I headed available I ran 10 miles this morning. My routine required 10 miles with 5 at half marathon speed – but, I am no where near my half marathon pr speed best now so I settled for a great tempo pace.

I was invited to the us open of Surfing by a rep from Frontier Communications. They have a booth at the event so I stopped by to state ‘hello’ as well as was lured to view some TV because the couch was empty. But, I stopped myself since there was sun as well as surfing as well as skateboarding to see!

The us open is a week long surfing competition held in Huntington beach each year. It’s the largest surfing competition in the world. They likewise have BMX bike as well as Skateboarding competitions. Last year I came on a Saturday as well as it was crazy packed. This year it was a Tuesday as well as still quite busy! Huntington is always quite congested in the summertime however there is a much more pumped up vibe the week of the us Open. There are much more vendors out as well as promotions as well as music everywhere. This morning I was in running shoes, now I’m in sand… just like I like it. There are significant screens on the pier as well as on the beach so you can see the surfing action a bit better. The surfers are method out there! I’ve been concerning HB because I was a kid. This was the great location to find after high institution just to walk around primary street as well as get smoothies as well as walk around. I have a great deal of fun memories right here (and one very sunburnt memory that made me ill I got so fried!!). So, I like any type of reason to find out as well as delight in this place. The BMX bike as well as skateboarding arena is on the beach too. I didn’t see as well much of that competition since Shaun White wasn’t there which is the only reason I’d stop… Huntington beach is understood as “Surf City USA”. They have the Surfing walk of fame down primary street with the names of legendary surfers. during the us open of Surfing they inaugurate new people into the walk of fame as well as may add a few tiles this week! I tried surfing twice as well as it is HARD! have you ever tried to surf?? I gotta stay with land sports like ‘professional TV watching’ as well as ‘fastest watermelon cutter’ I guess… I’ll never get a surfing trophy, however I did get this discount coupon for a totally free piercing – so I have that going for me. I like beachy waves, however my hair was just a huge ol’ grease sphere since of my run this morning.
